Consumables

The Consumables Module streamlines the issuance, tracking, and return of consumable items that are used in operations without being directly assigned to a specific machine or asset. This module ensures that consumables are efficiently allocated to employees based on their work requirements while maintaining real-time inventory visibility and transaction history.


Issue Consumables


Step 1: On the left-hand side, select “Consumables” and under that select “Issue Consumables”



Step 2: In the Reasons dropdown, select a valid reason for the requirement of consumables.
Step 3: In the Issue To dropdown, select the employee who requires it.
Step 4: In the Line/Env. dropdown, select the production line associated with the employee.
Step 5: In the Shift dropdown, select the employee’s shift time.
Step 6: In the Comment section, add any additional comments if required.
Step 7: Under the Items section, click “Add New” to provide detailed information for the component:
  1. Select an Item form Options: Select the required component.
  2. Available: Automatically update the number of needles available in the inventory for the selected component.
  3. Qty: Enter the quantity of components required. This will only allow you to enter a value less than or equal to the maximum permitted quantity.
  4. Price: The unit price per needle will automatically updated based on the selected component.
  5. BIN: he BIN number where the item is stored will be automatically updated once the item is selected.
Step 8: Once all necessary information is entered, click Submit to complete the transaction.

Issued

This section lists all the consumables that have been issued successfully. If the user wants to return, follow the below steps.

Step 1: Click on "Return" button of the item you want to return.
Step 2: A confirmation window will appear. Click “Yes” to proceed.
Step 3: In the next window, select the reason for returning the consumable from the dropdown menu.



Step 4: Choose whether the item is Reusable or Non-Reusable. If the item is reusable it will get added back to the inventory 
Step 5: Click Add New under the Item section, select the item from the dropdown, and enter the return quantity. Ensure the quantity is less than or equal to the returnable amount.

Issue List 

In this report you can view all the consumables which have been issued.

Consumable Returns

In this report you can view all the consumables which have been returned. 



    Inventory Field Definitions 

    • Date: Date the component was requested.

    • Issued To: Employee receiving the consumable item.

    • User ID : Employee who issued/received the component.

    • Consumable Issue ID: Unique IS for the component issue. 

    • Return Issue ID: Unique ID for return.

    • Warehouse location: Warehouse location.

    • Items: Quantity and details of consumables.

    • Order Value: Unit price x quantity.

    • Status: Return status (e.g., pending, restocked, disposed).

    • State: Condition after return (e.g., reusable, non-reusable).

    • Pin: Pin important records.

    • Flag: Flag for follow-up.

    • Mark: Mark pinned or flagged records.
