CSV Requirements for Customer Onboarding
When migrating data from a previous system to Traceit.live, you will need to provide data files in CSV format. The following fields and information are mandatory please ensure all required data is included in the CSV files for a smooth and efficient onboarding process.
1. Warehouse Creation
This dataset includes details of warehouse locations where inventory is stored and managed.
Mandatory Fields:
Traceit.live Location Code – Unique code for each location
Traceit.live Location Name – Name of the warehouse/facility
Asset Location Code – Internal code used for identification of Asset Locations
HR Code – Code corresponding to the warehouse in HR systems
GRN Facility – Facility associated with Goods Receipt Notes (GRN)
GRN Delivery Location – Specific location for deliveries
This dataset contains the key personnel managing inventory in different warehouse locations.
Mandatory Fields:
Warehouse Full Name – Name of the warehouse
Plant Code – Code assigned to each plant
Factory Users – Roles of the users (e.g., Spare Recorder, IT Officer, Factory Engineer)
Name – Full name of the user
Email – Contact email
EPF No/Employee No – Employee identifier
3. Line Data
This dataset maps production lines with their respective plants.
Mandatory Fields:
4. HR Data
This dataset consists of employee information for managing workforce-related tracking.
Mandatory Fields:
Employee Number – Unique identifier for employees
EPF Number – Employee Provident Fund (EPF) number
Barcode No – Employee barcode for traceability
Employee Name with Initials – Full name of the employee
Location – Plant/factory location
Department/Division – Assigned department within the company
5. Inventory Upload
This dataset is used for tracking stock levels, reorders, and bin allocations.
Mandatory Fields:
SKU – Stock Keeping Unit (Unique identifier for inventory items)
Qty – Quantity of stock available
Price (USD Unit Price) – Unit price in USD
Warehouse – Warehouse where the stock is located
Reorder Level – Threshold at which stock needs replenishment
Bin Location – Specific storage location within the warehouse
6. Asset Data
This dataset contains records of physical assets tracked within Traceit.live.
Mandatory Fields:
Asset ID – Unique identifier for each asset
Asset Name – Name/description of the asset
Serial Number – Unique serial number assigned to the asset
Barcode – Barcode for tracking the asset
Description – Additional details about the asset
Department – Department that owns or manages the asset
Purchase Date – Date of acquisition
Purchase Price – Cost of purchase
Depreciation Value – Depreciated amount
Depreciation Rate % – Percentage depreciation rate
Final Steps
Ensure all CSV files contain the required fields.
Validate data before uploading to prevent discrepancies.
