The Stock Request enables inventory movement between locations, ensuring efficient stock allocation and availability across the supply chain. It allows users to request stock, track transfers, and manage both inbound and outbound stock movements while maintaining full visibility into inventory flow.
External: To transfer to other lactations/warehouses.
Internal: To transfer to sub locations within the same location/warehouses.
Step 3: In the Request from dropdown, select whom you want to request from.
Step 4: In the Comment section, add any additional comments if required.
Step 5: Click "Notify User" if you want to send a notification when the request is made.
Step 6: Under the Items section, click “Add New” to provide detailed information for the item:
Select an Item form Options: Select the required item.
Available: Automatically update the number of items available in the inventory.
Qty: Enter the quantity of components required. (Should be less than available quantity).
Price : The unit price per item will automatically updated based on the selected item.
Step 7: Once all necessary information is entered, click Submit to complete the request.
The following fields are found across different reports and pop-up windows in the Inventory module.
Date: Date the request was made
Transfer ID: Unique ID for the request.
Requested From: Warehouse receiving the request.
Solicited By: Warehouse sending the request.
Status: Current request status.
Items: Quantity | Requested item | Transfer value.
Transfer Value: Total cost of requested items.
Requested By: User ID of the requester.
Comments: Additional notes.
